Vijay Sethupathi is the most versatile actor currently working in tamil cinema so much so that he has even caught the eye of the great Kamalhassan gaining his appreciation. The actor seems to revel playing rogueish characters in films like 'Soodhu Kavvum', Itharkuthaney Aasaipattai Balakumar`,`Vanmam`and even his soon to be released Purampokku` and Naanum Rowdythaan

As a departure from these kinds of role the actor is playing a soft role in his next film Mellisai` which re-unites him with his Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kanom` hit pair Gayathree, who plays a violonist.

Directed by debutant Ranjith Jeyakodi the film has music by newcomer Sam C.S and photography by Dinesh Krishnan. Only a days shooting is left and is expected to wrap up soon and fans can get to see an entirely different Vijay Sethupathi soon
