Asin is a bubbly and vivacious girl. This Mallu lass, however, couldn’t make it in Tollywood.

Her lack of essential oomph or intrinsic glamour perhaps worked against her. Though she has worked with top heroes like Nags, Venkatesh and Ravi Teja, Asin did not climb any great heights here.

Her last film Gharshana was a failure. But Asin still may have a go at glory in Telugu ----but not directly.

Two big films of her are set for release in Telugu this Diwali. As it happens, both are dubbed ones. Majaa and Ghazani are the two films that are most likely to make it for Diwali in Andhra.

Ghazani is already released and is running to packed houses in Tamil Nadu. This Murugadoss directed venture has been a winner mainly because of Asin’s spirited performance.

The film has made her hot property in Tamil. Vikram’s Majaa, in which she plays another bubbly role, is expected to raise her stocks further.

So Asin would be hoping that her entry into Telugu through another route would open the right doors now.
