A revenge of sorts

The charm of following the careers of actresses is the inherent competition between them.
It makes for extra interest and intensity. Take the careers of Shreya and Trisha.
Shreya was almost queen of all she surveyed when Trisha was not even a blip on the Telugu screen radar.
But out of the blue Trisha emerged and quickly notched up hits after hits.
On the contrary, Shreya went on a long losing streak. She had more failures that anyone could remember.
And then, she made the foray to Tamil.
Her first film Mazhai, a remake of Varsham, turned out to be a hit.
So Shreya got her first strike in Trisha's land. But that was only the beginning. More was to follow.
Shriya then orchestrated the coup. She landed herself the heroine's role in Shivaji, opposite Rajnikanth.
Interestingly, Trisha was also in the running for the role.
So Trisha had to come up with a strong answer. And she did precisely that. Trisha got herself signed as the heroine of Chiranjeevi's Stalin.
The scores are now even.
But expect more in the coming days.
