A.R. Rahman has ruled the roost as the numero uno film music composer in Indian cinema right from his debut movie 'Roja'. He made India proud by bagging twin Oscars for 'Slumdog Millionaire' and has followed it up with many more prestigious national and international awards.

On the personal front the Isaipuyal married Saira Banu on 12th March 1997 and today marks their 25th Wedding anniversary. The maestro took to Instagram to post a cute photo of himself and his wife and captioned it lovingly 25+1 ======?????? indicating how much love there is for eternity between the couple.

ARR and Saira Banu are blessed with three children Khatija Rahman, Rahima Rahman and Ameen Rahman who are musicians in their own right and making strides as performers.

Meanwhile as the Silver Jubliee wedding anniversary treat Rahman's first film as writer and producer '99 Songs' starring debutantes Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas will be releasing on April 16th, 2021 in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages. Jio Cinemas is the co-producer.
