Tamil cinema's first Oscar Award winning icon A.R. Rahman is ruling the film music space for the better part of three decades now. He has also made rare appearances on screen with the most notable being the song "Singapenne" from 'Bigil' in which he was seen sharing screen space with Thalapathy Vijay and director Atlee.

The hot news now is that Rahman and his son A.R. Ameen are acting together for a promo song of the upcoming 'Pathu Thala' directed by Obeli N Krishna and produced by Studio Green. This is the first time that the musical father son duo will be seen together on a movie screen. The shooting is going on at a popular studio in Chennai and the song is touted to be an inspiring one.

'Pathu Thala' stars Simbu, Gautham Karthik, Kalaiyarasan, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The film is slated for release on March 30th and the promotions will begin soon with the audio launch of A.R. Rahman's killer songs to happen in a grand manner.
