A.R.Rahman's sister A.R.Rehaina reacting to the Me Too issue has lauded singer Chinmayi's efforts to expose sexual predators. She has made the shocking revelation that other female singers too had complained to her about the veteran lyricist's sexual advances. She is of the opinion that being an iconic Tamil scholar Vairamuthu should not have indulged in such things.

At the same time A.R.Rehaina also has expressed her angst that Vairamuthu is being singled out and targeted. According to her there are many others who are doing sexual injustices to women at workplaces who should be outed and punished. It is a known fact that A.R.Rahman and Vairamuthu are longtime friends and collaborators.
