Isaipuyal A. R. Rahman has been enthralling film music fans for the better part of three decades. After bagging numerous international awards including the Oscars he has been branching into film production and screenwriting as well.
The maestro has been appearing in song videos in movies with the recent examples being in 'Singapenney" in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bigil' and the 'Pathu Thala' promo song video with son A.R. Ameen and the lead pair Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
Now the 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' anthem video has been released showing ARR in a true blue mass hero style in several shots. Fans have been pleasantly surprised by the generally reserved Rahman's style and swag in the video. A social media user wrote tagging him "Enough of ruling the music world thalaiva its time to dominate the silver screen".
A.R. Rahman has replied to the user with love emoji and a laughing emoji suggesting that though he finds the suggestion amusing he also loves it. Now lets wait and see who among the top directors come up with the right script to show our own Isaipuyal in a mass avatar on screen.
Until that happens we can enjoy his music in Mari Selvaraj's 'Maamannan', Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Lal Salaam', Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ayalaan' and Jayam Ravi's 32nd film produced by Vels Films International.
