The trailer and audio launch function of the Hollywood film Pele: Birth of a Legend` was conducted and speaking at the occasion the music director of the film A.R. Rahman said that he sees many parallels between his life and that of the Brazilian football legend Pele` unarguably the best footballer the world has ever produced.

Rahman said that Pele`s father was an aspiring soccer player who could never make it and similarly his own father Sekhar was helping many music directors at that time but died on the same day his biggest film released. He added that father`s can be inspired by the film that their children will fulfill their dreams.

Pele: Birth of a Legend` is directed by by Jeff and Michael Zimbalist and stars Kevin de Paula, Vincent D'Onofrio, Rodrigo Santoro, Diego Boneta and Colm Meaney. Rahman has composed a song called "Ginga" for the movie, which will celebrate Pele's legacy in soccer. The film hits the screens worldwide on May 13.
