Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman's daughter Khatija Rahman has created huge waves in the music industry by releasing her latest song video Farishton which about wanting a young girl's prayer for a peaceful world.

The animated video also expresses Khatija's strong message visually while her dad Rahman's music enchants as ever.  We caught up with the young musician who is returning to music after a while for an exclusive chat.

Khatija has stated that she is thankful to her mom and dad for giving her the freedom to be herself and she is intent on creating her own identity.  Regarding trolls on social media the young talent is of the strong opinion that it should not be ignored and they should be put in their place.

Khatija also cautions that women while handing it over to the trolls should be careful in the choice of words and not to stoop down to their level but never sit by and watch anyone belittling them.  There is more in the video below from the clear-minded young Khatija.
