Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman conducted a concert in London on the 8th of July and his Hindi fans were disappointed that a number of Tamil songs were performed and not enough Bollywood numbers. Many reportedly left the Wembley hall and others took to social media demanding a refund. There are shoutouts that Rahman made a name for himself in Bollywood and that he should not give importance to Tamil or even speak it.
When we look into the fracas it has come to light that some of the Hindi speaking citizens of London are rank senseless. The gig has been called "Netru Indru Naalai" and the fans not reading that have gone in and complaining. The Northies obviously have scant knowledge of using the internet as a wiki search would have told them that Rahman is a Tamilian who first made his name in Tamil before also working in Bollywood. His famous Oscar acceptance speech too was in Tamil. However, none of the Tamilians complained about the Hindi songs outnumbering the Tamil ones in London.
