As reported by us earlier Varun Rajendran an aspiring filmmaker has filed a case in the court stating that 'Sarkar' story has been stolen from his 'Sengol' script which is registered with the Writers Union. The union head K. Bhagyaraj has issued a letter that there is truth in Varun's claims which is an evidence in the case.
Director A.R. Murugadoss has strongly denied the allegations and has made the shocking revelation that Bhagyaraj and Varun have worked together in a serial fifteen years back and are conspiring to tarnish his image. He slams the Writers Union for not reading the bound script of 'Sarkar' and making claims only by reading the synopsis. ARM questions why they did not wait till he showed them the whole film itself. He has emphasized that he is in no way connected to Varun Rajendran and has never met him and there is no logic that he lifted his story.
