A.R.Murugadoss rejects Vijay's blockbuster sequel?

There have been reports in a Tamil weekly that Lyca Productions are roping in A.R. Murugadoss to direct the sequel to the blockbuster Thupakki` which is to begin after the director finishes his Mahesh Babu project.

However, sources close to ARM inform us that the director is not keen on doing a sequel, but instead is interested to film a fresh script with the Illayathalapathy. This is too early for any concrete info about this project as both Vijay and Murugadoss have to complete their current assignments .
