AVS, the actor turned director,was an active TDP man till last elections. He was the spokesperson of the party. CC Reddy, on the other hand is a Congress man, and is now the party’s spokesperson.

Now will these extreme forces join hands?

They have, in fact.

The two have come together for a film named Roommates with AVS directing it and C C Reddy producing it.

The film, with Rajiv Kanakala, Samir, Sameer Shetty and Pranathi in important roles, was launched yesterday.

Clapping the film to a start was none other Chiranjeevi himself. Rajendra Prasad switched on the camera and Ramanaidu directed the first shot.

The film is about some youths being duped after being promised of a job abroad.

The message eventually is that they can strike it rich here itself.
