‘Paper Boy’, a rom-com, is written by Sampath Nandi. Its teaser was today unveiled by a paperboy, much as the title would have warranted.

The film stars Santosh Shoban as the hero. Director Jaya Shankar today said, “After watching a short-film of mine, director Sampath Nandi gave me this offer. I can’t thank him enough for this opportunity. This is a simple love story and I hope the audience will like it.”

Narasimha, a producer of the movie, said, “We had a good script and a team. I am sure the film will be a success."

Sampath Nandi, who has also produced and penned the film's dialogues, said, “It’s a simple love story with a lot of emotions. I would like to thank Soundar Rajan for his extraordinary cinematography and Bheems for his music.”

Hero Santosh Shoban said, “With ‘Golconda High School’, I had made my debut as a child artist and with this film, I am getting introduced as a hero. ‘Thank you’ is a small word for director Sampath Nandi and his encouragement is unmatchable. This film has a lot of newcomers and heroine Riya Suman has performed quite well.”

Tanya Hope, Posani Krishna Murali, Abhishek Maharshi, Vidyu Raman, Jayaprakash Reddy, Bithiri Sathi, Sunny, Mahesh Vitta and others are part of the cast.

Produced by Sampath Nandi Team Works, BLN Cinema and Prachitra Creations, the film has editing by Tammiraju, Art direction by Rajeev, and Script co-ordination by Sudhakar Pavuluri.

The film will hit the screens in the month of August.
