A 'New' theme

Tollywood's tryst with multiplex themes is not well-found. Seems that tides are blowing in new directions now. Producer Bhargava Kodavanti is launching a film titled New, with Shyamprasad as the director. Bhargava is the producer of Kittu, South India's first full-length animation film, while Shyamprasad is the award-winning director of Ritu.

The filmmakers are sure that the innocence, love and bonding between three childhood friends, will be liked by one and all. New stars Nishan, Rima and Asif, whose tryst with modernity changes their perceptions forever. They find themselves in the middle of a moral quagmire, when their dream of journeying together till the end is threatened.

Let's hope the film makes waves at the box office and brings in a new trend, worthy of its title.
