In this fast-paced world, all it takes to make it in filmdom is one good hit.

Shafi knows that. The villain of Chatrapathi is a hot baddie on the circuit with many offers coming his way after the film’s success.

Shafi's performance as an evil brother of Prabhas has won him very many admirers.

A theater product, Shafi is a consummate performer and is a bankable actor because he is uncomplicated.

A product of National School of Drama, New Delhi, Shafi has had tutelage under stalwarts like Naseerudin Shah, and Anupam Kher.

He is not exactly a newcomer in Telugu. He has worked in films like Khadgam,Varsham, Praanam and Neetho Vastha.

He did a few Hindi films in between. But now he is back in Telugu with a bang.

Shafi, however,is in no hurry all the films that come his way.

Variety is the key. I also want to experiment, he adds.

Well said, Shafi.
