Veteran director K Balachander has so far completed 100 films while his next Poi is gearing up for a release. His production house Kavithalaya had churned several blockbusters featuring several prominent artistes.

After a career spanning over four decades, Balachander takes a new avatar.

He has taken the role of a film distributor for the first time in his career.

Balachander's Kavithalaya Productions has taken up the distribution of Ajith starrer Paramasivan for the Chengalpet area.

According to sources, 'the decision to distribute the movie was taken after they were impressed with the outcome of the movie and also a great expectations that the movie carries along with it'.

Balachander had emerged triumphant in all his ventures before. Let's hope he succeeds in his new role as film distributor also.
