Director Vinu is busy churning out a musical, Suryan. The film is about a father and son - Surya Narayanan and Hari Narayanan, who are talented musicians. Jayaram plays the role of the father and Sai Kumar is the son.

Vimala Raman is the heroine. Ilayaraja has composed the tunes.

Girish Puthanshery has composed the lyrics. The songs have come out well. I am happy that they are melodious and am sure that they would top the audio charts, says Vinu.
