The number of followers for Dhanush on social networks shot up after his appealing phenomenal success, 'Vellaiyilla Pattathari'. Dhanush has a huge fan following not only in Tamil Nadu, but also up North; his fame in North India started with 'Why This Kolaveri' going viral all over the world, followed by his lauded performance in 'Raanjhnaa'. Adding icing on the cake is his ongoing project with Amitabh Bachchan, titled 'Shamitab', all of which he has been posting updates about, constantly. Maybe this is why Dhanush has a mighty number of followers on the internet; his Twitter account alone has more than a million followers, and on Facebook, fan count on his official page has well crossed 14 lakhs!
