'Manalo Okadu', starring RP Patnaik in the role of a lecturer who crusades against a media baron's designs and arrogance, yesterday celebrated the success of its audio in Tirupathi. The film has been music-directed by RP himself. 'Gana Gandharvudu' Yesudas graced the event as the chief guest. It was an occasion to celebrate one million views that the album generated on Internet.

Yesudas said, "I started learning music at the age of five. My father was my first 'guru'. He asked me to leave aside formal education and dedicate myself to learning music. My learning has been ongoing since then. My only advice to contemporary singers is that their learning should never cease. Otherwise, ones growth stops then and there. It's the blessings of my guru, God and fans that have helped me reach this stage. A singer has to take care of health. To make sure my voice is intact, I have given up certain things. Yet I am very happy. Our future generation should learn to respect the Bharatiya culture. I am not a 'pandit'. I am still a learner".

RP Patnaik said, "After 'Annamayya', it was 'Jayam' that sold the maximum CDs. Platinum disc function is held on lakh CDs being sold. Nowadays, though, it's not possible to sell these many. That's why, nobody believes when a Platinum function is held that one lakh copies got sold. Since this is the age of Internet, the old concepts are no longer relevant. That's why we have come up with the concept of Million Clicks. There are four songs in the movie. In my opinion, one million clicks means that 2.5 lakh copies have got sold. Listening to Yesudas garu's voice, one experiences God Himself. I don't even deserve to take his name. I am happy that such a divine personality is here for the occasion".

Producer Gurujala Jaganmohan said, "It's our fortune that our first attempt has the blessings of Yesudas garu. We have done this movie only because of RP Patnaik garu".

While Sai Kumar is playing a self-important, loud, arrogant media baron, RP plays a frustrated, explosive, wronged common man.

Also starring Anitha Reddy of 'Nuvvu Nenu' fame, the film has Nasser, Tanikella Bharani, Jayaprakash Reddy, Srimukhi, Raghubabu, Banjerjee, Gollapudi Maruthirao, Raja Ravindra, Duvvasi Mohan and others are part of the cast.

Cinematography is by SJ Siddharth. Editing is by Uddhav. Dialogues are by Tirumal Nag. RP is the music director. He has written the story and screenplay as well.
