Manmadhan Simbu turns Vallavan now. Silambarasan's directorial venture Vallavan went to floors on Wednesday with out any big fanfare.

In a low key affair, the movie's first scene was shot at a school in Chennai with actor-director Silambarasan calling the shots.

Producer Thenappan and the rest of the crew involved in the movie were present.

Unlike his earlier ventures, Silambarasan's directorial venture Vallavan was carried out with out any big celebrations.

Vallavan stars Kadhal fame Sandhya, Reema Sen and Nayantra in the lead roles. With Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music, Vallavan is all set for a release this Deepavali.
