Vinayan is a past master in youth subjects.
Being a strong-willed man, he always backed himself and went for young heroes as opposed to top stars.
His new film Boyy Friendd is no exception.
The film stars newcomers in the lead, with some crusty veterans like Sreenivasan, Jagatheesh, Mukesh adding strength to the movie.
But the news is that despite the good word surrounding the film, Vinayan has postponed the filmÂs release.
From being a Ramzan release, Boyy Friennd will make it to the theaters only next week.
Vinayan himself is distributing the film in the Kochi area.
So the Ramzan race is between MammoottyÂs Rajamanickam and Santosh SivanÂs Ananthabhadram.
