Film lovers are surprised to hear about the delay and problems, Blessy is facing in completing his new project Calcutta News. The film which started immediately after the film strikes that hit Kerala in the first week of July, is still taking time to get completed.

The film has a good cast including Dileep, Indrajith, Meera Jasmine and Vimala.

First, it was the delay due to Meera who took her time to join the sets from her other language assignments. Then it was the rains and flood that affected Bengal in the early weeks of August that created much havocs for the shooting crew.

And when it was shifted to Kochi this month, new problems are there for Blessy, including heavy rains here that are in the way of its completion.

The film which was originally planned for Onam will now be on theatres only by the first week of November that is for Deepavali.

And Dileep will not have a release till that time after the disastrous July 4, which was released on July.
