Name Chetan Pandit may not really ring a bell in one's ear but ask a movie buff about the man who enacted the role of Home Minister Dinkar Pandey in Prakash Jha's 'Apaharan' and chances are there would be many hands raising up in acknowledgment.

The man who stood against the might of Nana Patekar and the inner violence of Ajay Devgan in the socio-political affair of last year was just recently seen in a different light altogether in last Friday's release 'Bas Ek Pal'.

In the film, he played the role of a well built homosexual person who rapes his jail inmate Sanjay Suri. Though he has just 3 odd scenes in the film, his mere presence on a frame is so scary that it creates a great impact. The talented actor has left a mark in his brief appearance by creating an eerie feel around the proceedings that makes the viewer quite repulsive about the entire episode.

Hope one sees more of this talented actor in the days to come.
