The filming of Hansika's 50th film Maha was wrapped recently and the team has announced the teaser release date. Hansika made her debut as a child artist and went on to become a leading actress in Kollywood. This much anticipated film has Hansika in the lead role and the teaser is announced to be released on 2nd July at 6.00 PM.

The film is written and directed by debutant director U.R.Jameel and Simbu was roped in to play an extended cameo. Maha is a thriller drama and is produced by Mathi Azhagan under the banner of Etcetera Entertainment. It also stars Sanam Shetty, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Mahat Raghavendra, Suijith Shankar, Nanditha Jennifer, and Srikanth.

The official Twitter handle of Etcetera Entertainment made this official by posting a picture where Hansika was seen wearing a all black attire while holding a burning paper in hand and captioned it 'Get ready folks for #Maha teaser coming to you this 2 July 2021. Expect the unexpected, do not miss it! #hansika50th'. It is also notable that she was last seen in the Tamil movie 100, opposite Atharva.
