The dancing sensation of Indian cinema, Prabhudeva celebrated his birthday today.

A choreographer-turned-actor-turned-director Prabhudeva is known for his swift energy and graceful dance movements.

He has choreographed for over 100 movies and received the National Award for Best Choreographer for the film Minsara Kanavu in Tamil and Lakshya in Hindi.

He made his debut as hero in Indu followed it with Kadhalan, directed by Shankar. Son of the legendary dance master Sundaram, Prabhudeva ventured to direct movies and his maiden directorial venture Nuvvastanantae Nenodantana in Telugu was a blockbuster.

Prabhudeva, who has a large fan following in the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industry, directed Vijay for Pokkiri. The movie went on to become a blockbuster. This year, the 'Rubber man of Indian film industry' is tipped to direct a Hindi movie for Boney Kapoor.
