There is great news for all Mammootty fans to rejoice when all are stepping into the New Year with tons of hope and excitement. Even though new Malayalam films weren`t released during Christmas vacation and New Year, there is great news for all film lovers. Last year`s release Pulimurugan` was magnum opus film for director Vysakh, scriptwriter Uday Krishnan and producer Tomichan Mulakupadam and it broke all records. The same team is joining together this time for yet another Mega Budget film with none other than Mammukka. Director Vysakh has announced this news to a Malayalam online news portal.

The film is the sequel of Pokkiri Raja titled Pokkiri Raja 2. According to the director it is not the continuation of the story, but the character is taken and placed in a new plot.

The film is action packed and technically sound that matches to the time. It will be completely a 2017 movie. The story telling will also be trendy and different.

He also mentioned that it will be a family mass entertainer film catering to the taste of family and children.

They will be collaborating with top technicians, VFX team and cast to make this a colossal hit like Pulimurugan`.

The producer of the film has requested Mammootty for a 100 days call sheet for this film.
