It is a well-known fact that snack companies attract kids to buying their products with a free ‘toy’ packaged  inside. A four year old belonging to Andhra Pradesh’s Eluru paid with his dear life when he choked to death after swallowing the miniature toy on Wednesday.

The boy, Meesala Nireekshan who was bought a snack by his father mistook the toy to be edible as well. After consuming the toy, the boy went into seizure following which he was taken to the Government hospital. Unfortunately, the boy was declared to be brought dead to the hospital premises.

Reportedly, a case has been registered under section 174 of the criminal code and investigations are underway. DSP Venkateswara Rao also said that a case would be filed against the shop dealer and the snack company and is currently awaiting the boy’s post-mortem report.
