'A' for Satyananda

At last the battle is over for Madan Patel on the controversial film ‘Satyananda’. The Regional censor board officer K Nagaraju facing allegations of bribe did not approve the film as the things were complicated from Swami Nithyananda side too.

Not happy with the regional censor board looking at his film director, producer, actor, politician Madan patel went to the revising committee in New Delhi. At the revising committee ‘Satyananda’ Kannada cinema was given “A” certificate with five cuts.

Madan Patel feeling battle is won says he wants to release the film during the Dasara festival in Karnataka.

In last October the film ‘Satyananda’ was banned from release by Bengaluru City Civil Court. Swami Nityananda of Bidadi has filed a case against the release of the film. Madan Patel questioning the Bengaluru City Civil court order of ban moved to High Court of Karnataka.

Ravi Chetan plays the role of Nityananda in ‘Sathyananda’ cinema of Madan Patel. Patel plays politician cum film maker in the film. Another Swamiji is shown showing not to take up a film on ‘Nityananda’.
