Jimmy Shergill is readying for the release of his first ever horror film 'A Flat'. What makes the film special is the fact that it hasn't been shot on the sets. Instead, to give the film an authentic look and also make the actors relate to the settings and get a sense of the claustrophobic environment that the characters in the film go through, 'A Flat' was shot in an actual flat instead of a studio setup.

"We have shot the film at a live location," confirms Jimmy, "There was quite some effort that went into finding the right spot for the film. This is when the production team zeroed in on this particular flat in Lokhandwala, It was quite claustrophobic though because the film had to be shot in a specific place. There isn't much movement that you can expect when there you shoot in a duplex with one hall and a bedroom. I was really cramped for space and the discomfort showed on my face and the body language which only worked further for the character and the film."

Also starring Sanjay Suri, Kaveri Jha and Hazel in principal roles, 'A Flat' is a co-production of Anjum Rizvi & Raaj Varma and releases on 12th November.
