Mohanlal-starrer '1971: Beyond Borders' will be released in all Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi in the month of April. Directed by Major Ravi, it has Asha Sarath and Arunoday Singh of Bollywood in other crucial roles. Our own Allu Sirish is playing a key role in the movie. Sirish will be seen in a retro look throughout in this period drama. This is his Mollywood debut.

Based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war, Mohanlal is playing two roles - as Major Mahadevan and his father - in this flick.

The Telugu version is produced by Pooja Katyayani on Sri Srinivasa Art Pictures. Dialogues are from M Rajasekhara Reddy. Music is by Siddharth Vipin, Najim Arshad and Rahul Subramanian, whereas Gopi Sunder has composed BGM. DoP is by Sujith Vaassudev.
