It is now clear that Trisha will play the heroine in Chiranjeevi’s new film Stalin.

It was well known that many heroines like Nayantra, Asin, Shreya and Ayesha Takia were in the race fort the slot.

But all of them must have felt disappointed when Trisha pipped them at the post.

But among the losers, Asin had at least some crumb of comfort to enjoy.

Asin has been picked out for appreciation by Chiru over her latest performance.

It may be recalled that Asin’s new flick in Tamil Ghajini is a huge hit and she has played a bubbly girl’s role with finesse.

Asin was naturally thrilled with the encomiums coming her way. But to her surprise, Chiru, who had seen the film, not only called her to commend her but also sent a bouquet in appreciation. He is reported to have said ‘cute show’ on her performance.

Now that has made up for Asin’s disappointment in missing out on a role in Stalin.
