Thalpathy Vijay's 'Mersal' has created national frenzy with its references to GST. Amidst the political pressure game from the BJP unit that the movie experienced, leading names from the film fraternity and political groups showed their support.

Now in what appears to be a battle won, Hema Rukmani the CEO of Sri Thenandal Films and the producer of 'Mersal' has stated that no scenes have been chopped off or no dialogues have been muted and so fans can enjoy the movie as it is with no cuts.

The news comes off as a relief to millions of Thalapathy fans worldwide as the film's highlight is the said GST reference and chopping it off would have taken the lifeline out of the movie.
