Mohanlal’s ‘very own' producer Antony Perumbavoor has announced his new banner A and A productions. Antony is the producer of his mass masala films like Narasimham and recent Baba Kalyani, which he is producing under the banner Aashirwad cinemas.

When asked about this new banner Antony says,”Aashirwad is planned to produce films that will make Lal sir's ever increasing fanship happy. The films that we produced under the banner were all thrillers with Lal sir acting out his best for commercial mix. But our new banner is to produce films that is realistic and artistically brilliant."

A and A productions is debuting with their first project Pardesi directed by P T Kunju Mohammed. The film tells the fate of a freedom fighter who has to and loves to live in India with a Pakistani citizenship.
