'99 Songs', written and produced by AR Rahman, will hit the screens on April 16 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Ahead of its theatrical release, the makers on Tuesday unveiled its trailer.

Jio Studios, which is co-producing the musical romance, described its lead man, Ehan Bhat, as magnetic. Helmed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, who has penned its screenplay in company with the legendary composer, the film is also produced by YM Movies and Ideal Entertainment.

The visuals in the trailer suggest that Manisha Koirala has got an intense role. In the second half of the trailer, a lot of drama is captured by Rahman's BGM.

Featuring also Edilsy, Tenzin Dalha, Lisa Ray, Manisha Koirala, Rahul Ram and Ranjit Barot, '99 Songs' is about a singer and lyricist who has dramatic equations with his girlfriend and music. With the cinematography by Tanay Satam and James Cowley, its editing is by Akshay Mehta and Shreyas Beltagdy.
