96 star to reprise role in Telugu as well!

The romantic entertainer 96 released last year, was a huge hit, and the movie which was the debut directorial venture of cinematographer Premkumar had grossed more than 50 crores, becoming one of the biggest hits of the lead pair - Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha.
Following the success of the movie, it was remade in Kannada as 99 starring Ganesh and Bhavana and the movie was moderately successful there, and now the Telugu remake of the movie is in progress, and the yet to be titled remake is directed by the maker of the original, Premkumar himself.
While this movie stars Sharwanand of Engeyum Eppothum fame and Samantha as Ram and Jaanu, it has been revealed that young actress Gouri G Kishan who had played the younger version of Trisha's Jaanu will be reprising her young Jaanu role in Telugu as well. The movie is expected to release after August.
