'96' remake: Samantha calls it a wrap

Samantha Akkineni has completed shooting for her portions of the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit '96'. The 'Rangasthalam' and 'Oh Baby' actress is doing Trisha's role from the original.
"And it's a wrap !! Another special film and a role that has challenged me to be better than I was yesterday.. Thank you to my director Prem and costar Sharwanand for being a dream team. Janu .. living my best life. Grateful always," Sam today tweeted out.
The production works were expected to be over by July or August. But they got delayed due to some reasons. Directed by Prem Kumar, the tender love story has music by Govind Vasantha. Cinematography is by J Mahendran. Written by Mirchi Kiran, its art direction is by Ramanjaneyulu. Editing is by Srikar Prasad. Producer Dil Raju is yet to announce the release date of this awaited romantic drama.
