Vijay Sethupathi's poetic '96' teaser will move you emotionally

The official teaser of ‘96’ is out and its seems like it’s going to linger on you even after watching. ‘96’ has Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in the lead roles , while that itself created curiosity- one must admit that the duo look fantastic together. VJS is a wildlife photographer (he even does a sloth pose), a bit wild as see him in the car, and calm as well when we see him resting in the car.
On the other hand, Trisha comes as a normal, ordinary girl and the teaser beautifully captures the poetic melodrama that the two emit. If the violins in the teaser don’t impress you,get ready to be immersed in the moody visuals, thanks to cinematographer Shanmuga Sundaram.
A classically gorgeous Trisha and a ruffian VJS take the teaser’s emotionally quotient to a higher level. Sure we can expect a amoving story out of ‘96’ going by the teaser. And also it’s worth mentioninghere that the teaser’s description says that it is a romance film. So it would be interesting to watch VJS in such a characterisation.
Govind Vasantha has composed the music score while editor Govindaraj has made the cuts. Directed by Prem Kumar, the movie is being bankrolled by Madras Enterprises.
