Who won the Best Actor and Best Director awards at Oscars 2021? Check out full list of winners

The results of the long-awaited 93rd Academy Awards were announced on Sunday evening and Chloe Zhao made history last night as the first woman of colour to win the Oscar for Best Director for Nomadland. The movie also won the Academy Award for the Best Picture.

Meanwhile veteran actor Anthony Hopkins won the award for the Best Actor for his role in The Father. At 83, he is the oldest actor to win an Academy Award, although several people expected late actor Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020 after a four-year battle with colon cancer, to win the award for his performance in Ma Raineys Black Bottom.
