90s crush Chandra Lakshman signs a movie!

Actress Chandran Lakshman, who has been away from movies and serials for over 10 years now has signed a Malayalam movie. The actress is making her second innings with the MR Ajayan directorial 'The Ghost Writer'.
The movie was launched in Thodupuzha with a customary puja function on Wednesday.
Actor Indrans will be playing the lead role in the upcoming film which is produced by Ravi Menon under the banner of Frontline 369. It has cinematography by M.D. Sukumaran and editing by Sooraj. Unnikrishnan Pakkanar is handling the music department while Sudheer Babu will pen the lyrics.
Chandra shared her excitement on social media and wrote, Hey folks!! My new film 'Ghostwriter' starts rolling from today..Its a team of passionate people who love cinema..Its a role i have never handled before..So obviously i am all the more excited..I am also thrilled to shoot at Thodupuzha where some of our favourite films like Drishyam,Kathaparayumbol and many others were shot.. Known as the Hollywood of Kerala,this is a lovely place with such loving people..Overwhelmed for all the love today even after so many years of me not been seen in malayalam.. Ever greatful to the Universe for making me an actor as i have always experienced so much love and support from my audience..THANK YOU!!
Chanda Lakshman has played notable roles in movies such as 'Stop Violence', 'Chakram', 'Balram vs Taradas' and 'Pachakuthira'. The actress also has a huge fan base in Tamil Nadu after her lead role as a bubbly girl in the superhit 'Kadhalikka Neram Illai serial went on to become a huge hit!
