Director Arun Prabhu Purushothaman had made his debut in 2017 with the hard hitting social drama Aruvi, starring Aditi Balan in lead role, and the movie revolved around a HIV positive girl and her travel in the society and the way she changes the approach of people around her.

Following the success of Aruvi, director Arun Prabhu is working on his second movie Yaazh, and the latest update on the movie is that it will feature 90 year old actor SN Bhatt. SN Bhatt has previously acted in movies like the classic Moondram Pirai, Madarasapattinam, Kaatrin Mozhi and Thirumanam Enum Nikkah and has got a meaty role in Yaazh.

Yaazh reportedly revolves around the character played by SN Bhatt, an elderly person residing alone in a bungalow, isolated from people, and what happens when a couple in love enter the bungalow and the changes that follow in his life. SN Bhatt has said that it is a positive that his look resembles director/actor K.Vishwanath and that he wants to act till his end.
