'9' is a horror film based on the concept of ghost-hunting. Directed by Aswani Kumar and produced by Shweta Singh, the movie will hit the screens in May.

"Our film is currently in post-production phase. It's an imaginative script and a woman-centric movie. A team of ghost hunters visit a place which is haunted by ghosts. During their investigation, they find certain traces of paranormal activity. The ghost-hunting that they undertake is meticulously narrated," the director says.

Shot in Madanapally, Horsley Hills and Hyderabad, the film stars Atul Kulkarni, Kabir Duhan Singh, Archana Shastri, Ashima Narwal and others. Sritha Chandana, Vimal Krishna, Pavani Gangireddy, Abhishek Maharshi, Abhinav Gomatham, Purnima Maudgil, Sudha Rani and Sameer Hasan are a part of the cast.

Kittu Vissapragada is the dialogue and lyrics writer. Choreography is by Uday Bhanu. Costumes are by Ashwanth Byri.

Music is by Sricharan Pakala. Cinematography is by Sunil Kumar N. Art direction is by Kiran Manne. Editing is by Garry BH. VFX is by Venkat K.
