TN farmer buys dream Mercedez Benz after saving for 80 years

88 year old H.Devarajan, a farmer from Kancheepuram fulfilled his eighty year old dream of owning a Mercedez Benz car and drove one home along with his wife. He has related a touching story that as a 8 year old riding a bicycle he saw a Merc for the first time and was attracted to the three pointed logo ring on the bonnet and at that time did not even know the brand name.
Devarajan started saving for his dream car and though it took him 80 years it is a grand achievement proving to everyone that age does not matter. The Mercedes-Benz Trans Car India company presented the octogenerian and his wife a nice cake and helped into his prized possession.
