The Telugu version of '83' is presented by Akkineni Nagarjuna on Annapurna Studios and Reliance Entertainment. Plugging the trailer of the Ranveer Singh-starrer today, Nag wrote, "The incredible true story of the underdogs who pulled off the unthinkable!"

The film will hit the screens on December 24 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. It will also be available in 3D.

The trailer of the movie, which dropped earlier today, is almost four minutes. It shows how the Indian cricket team was laughed at for daring to dream of winning the world cup. After 'MS Dhoni', this one is the most exciting cricket-based movie.

Pankaj Tripathi as PR Man Singh, Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar, Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Saqib Saleem as Mohinder Amarnath, Jatin Sarna as Yashpal Sharma, Chirag Patil as Sandeep Patil, Dinker Sharma as Kirti Azad, Nishant Dahiya as Roger Binny and others form part of the case. Deepika Padukone is playing Kapil Dev's wife in the movie.
