As of now, he is awaiting the release of his long awaited sports drama '83'. In this film based on the India's winning crusade in 1983 World Cup, Tahir essays the role of legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar. During a recent conversation with a news outlet, Tahir expressed how excited he is about the release.
