Veteran actor-director unhappy about 80s stars reunion

The stars of the eighties reunite every year to celebrate their decades of friendship and this time it was held at Megastar Chiranjeevi's house in Hyderabad. Mohan Lal, Jackie Shroff, Prabhu, Bhagyaraj, Suresh, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Sarathkumar, Rahman, Jagapathy Babu, Revathi, Radhika, Suhasini, Jaya Prada, Lizzy, Jayasudha among others were seen dressed to kill and spread their charm.

Veteran actor cum director Pratap Pothen has expressed his sadness of not being invited to the grand reunion of his contemporaries. He has posted in social media "I am a Persona Non Grata with the 80's stars nayybe i am a bad actor and director ...so they didnt invite me to their get together i am sad :( what can one say ....only that my career in films ment nothing ....well some may like you some hate you ...but life goess on".

Pratap has acted as hero in several movies with his most memorable being Balu Mahendra's 'Moodu Pani' and 'Panneer Pushpangal' and in later years turned a commercial director with hit films including 'Vettri Vizha' with Kamal Haasan, 'My Dear Marthandan' with Prabhu, 'Lucky Man' with Karthik and 'Jeeva' with Sathyaraj.
