In a brutally shocking news, a 8 year old girl was raped and burnt alive in Pakistan’s Punjab Province. A large number of people hailing from Chichawatni, Sahiwal gathered to stage a protest and dispersed after the police claimed that they have arrested a suspect.
Reportedly, a grade-II sirl student went missing on Sunday after she went to buy sweets from a grocery shop. When she did not return after a long time, the family went out in search of the girl, they found the girl lying unconcious in a deserted street with burns.
The girl who was rushed to the Lahore hospital suffered a 70 % burn injury and succumbed this morning. The police has detained a suspect and started investigations. However, more official information is expected after an autopsy is conducted.
