‘8 Vasantalu’ Trailer: A Bold, Emotional Tale of Love and Rebellion from a Woman’s Perspective

The much-awaited trailer of “8 Vasantalu”, starring Ananthika Sanilkumar, was unveiled today, offering a stirring glimpse into a film that promises to challenge conventions and redefine how love stories are told in Telugu cinema.

Backed by the prestigious Mythri Movie Makers and helmed by Phanindra Narsetti, the film is set for theatrical release on June 20.

The trailer begins with a striking confrontation — a priest denies Ananthika’s character the right to light a funeral pyre, claiming it’s not a role for women. What follows is a revelation of her fierce spirit, independence, and unexpected martial arts prowess, immediately setting her apart as a bold and unconventional heroine.

The storyline unfolds into two parallel romantic arcs, each exploring her complex relationships with different men. As the visuals move through moments of love, heartbreak, and inner conflict, the film’s emotional depth is encapsulated in a powerful closing line: “Men have the Taj Mahal and Bhagyanagar to showcase their love, but women have no such monuments — only their hearts to bury that love in.”

That single line captures the essence of 8 Vasantalu — a love story told entirely from a woman’s gaze. Emotional, introspective, and intense, the trailer suggests a narrative that is both deeply personal and socially resonant.

With rich visuals, a compelling lead performance by Ananthika, and a refreshing focus on female perspective, 8 Vasantalu is shaping up to be a heartfelt cinematic experience that explores love, loss, and identity in a uniquely powerful way.
