When you lose interest in life, life dates with you - in a positive sense. That's what Dharma (Rakshit Shetty) discovers in '777 Charlie', an adventure comedy-drama in which a street dog named Charlie redeems the male lead.
Dharma is spurned by one and all. He leads a wretched life and has no friends. One fine day, Charlie enters his life out of nowhere and delivers a rags-to-riches story. "When the known disappears, the unknown reveals a ray of hope." The line from the trailer suggests that Dharma is an orphan in whose life an animal becomes a ray of hope.
The Telugu version is presented by Rana Daggubati and Suresh Productions. "Presenting to you the magical moments of Dharma and Charlie," the presenters tweeted. Rana called it a phenomenal journey of Charlie.
Kiranraj K has scripted and helmed this June 10th release. Shots of Sangeetha Sringeri with the hero suggest that the love track is replete with tender, feel-good moments. Also featuring Raj B Shetty, stand-up comic Danish Sait and Tamil actor Bobby Simha, the multi-lingual is meant to drive home the message that dogs are the man's best friends.
