After having watched the movie '72 Model' from senior director Rajasenan, one would not mind naming the movie such. It could be most rightest way to title one absurd stuff , which resembles some of the worst movies of that decade. As usual with the director who always attempts to create laughter from no real chances, this movie also hams big-time without any credible storyline and logic in the narratives.  A movie which may not have a life span more than 10 days in release centre, it is high time for the  director to  realize what has went wrong with his making.

The movie features Govind Padmasuriya of Adayalanagal fame as Sajan, the son of Vasooty(Vijayaraghavan) who lives as a taxi driver. One fine day, three notorious criminals, Alan and Chacko happens to dumb a big amount in a suitcase to the dickey of Saaajan's dilapidated car, which was parked in a warehouse. Finding his big luck, Saajan immediately shifts the car and with the help of his close friends Vivek(Sreejith Vijay) and Pravathy starts a business firm. It requires no big brains to predict that the threesome makes big bucks with their new business deals.  Saajan falls for their new staff Janakai who comes from a modest background while Vivek and Parvathy starts liking each other. But to the embarrassment of them., an older man named Kuttanpillai(Madhu) starts to follow them and tells them about the misdeed that the have done by lifting somebody's money and spending it as their own.  The mystery behind Kuttan pillai forms the rest of the move.

A really difficult watch, the movie clearly shows that screenwriting is not a forte for the director. Packaged with illogical scenes, the director in Rajasenan also fails to pull out any watchable drama on screen. His fresh faces in the cast are really disturbing and fail to live up their roles. The experienced players like Govind finds its difficult to suit themselves in the poorly sketched characters they are on. There are plenty of unexplained links in the so called story and the characters played by Madhu stands apart as a sore thump.

The technical sides are also average with K P Nambiathiri creating some average visuals. Even the songs by M Jayachandran fails to impress and so are the visuals of the songs.

All in all, this `72 Model'  is no way a digestible entertainer. Watch it at your own r isk.
